Pre-procedure preparation

Avoid alcohol, caffeine, drugs or medication (like aspirin, ibuprofen) for 24–48 hours prior and on the day of the procedure.

No fillers, or chemical peels in the lips area at least 4 weeks before procedure.

Avoid sunbathing, tanning beds, or sunburn for at least 1 week before.

Treat any dermatitis, rashes or scabs on lips prior to procedure.

Gently exfoliate and hydrate lips well prior to procedure.

Please refer to your GP for advice on taking antiherpetic medication (like Acyclovir, Zovirax) prior and on the day of the procedure.
